For the marinade --- Put all ingredients (except steaks) in a pan and heat to boiling then cut off heat and let cool completely.

season steaks with salt and pepper and let sit for 1 hour. Put steaks into a zip lock bag with cooled marinade and refrigerate for minimum overnight.
Step 3
When ready to grill, take steaks out of refrigerator, leave in bag of marinade and let them come to room temp. Get the grill ready with hot grill -either charcoal or gas. Take the steaks out of the bag and put steaks on grill 3 to 4 minutes per side or to desired doneness. These are best grilled to medium 4 minutes per side on hot grill. Time will depend on how hot your grill is and how well done you like your steak. Take off grill and let rest for 2 minutes, serve and enjoy.
