Grilled Corn on the Cob

  • 6 ears of corn, soaked in water for 30 minutes
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 1-2 tablespoons chili powder, optional
  • Cooking spray
  • 3 limes, halved

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat the Grill Grate Insert on the STOK® Grill to medium heat, between 300°F -350°F.

Step 2

If using the STOK® Tower, click here for heating tips.

Step 3

Mix salt, pepper and chili powder in small bowl. Set aside.

Step 4

Remove corn from water bath and shake off excess water. Pull the husks back away from the ears of the corn and remove the silks. Spray all sides of each ear with cooking spray and generously sprinkle with the spice mixture. Pull husks back over ears of corn.

Step 5

Once the grill is heated thoroughly, place the corn on the Grill Grate. Grill the corn on all sides until golden brown, about 8-10 minutes. Transfer to warming rack on the Quattro or outer edge of STOK® Tower for indirect grilling. Close lid and allow corn to cook for another 20-25 minutes.

Step 6

Remove and let cool for a few minutes. Serve with the lime halves.
