Set STOK grill to high heat and gather ingredients.
Open a can of beer and take a few sips and/or pour about 1/4 of it into the dish or pan. Set the can in the center of the dish.
Add the sugar, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and chili powder together in a small dish.
Soften the butter in a small bowl, and add a pinch or two of the mix and stir.
Lift the skin of the chicken gently and rub the butter mixture all over the breast and thighs if you can reach them. Be careful not to rip the skin.
Slice the limes into thin slices and put them underneath the skin. Try to fit as man as possible without them overlapping.
Open the bottom of the chicken and place it on top of the beer can.
Drizzle and brush olive oil over the outer part of the skin. Next use the remainder of the rub and cover completely.
Roast chicken on STOK grill for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Remove from grill, serve and enjoy!
