Gather all of your ingredients. Cut your onions in half and save the largest outer layers.
In a mixing bowl add your ground beef and brown sugar.
add bread crumbs.
add ketchup.
add soy sauce and worcestershire.
add mushrooms.
add onions.
add parsley.
mix all of your ingredients in the bowl together.
stuff the ground beef mixture into the onion halves.
Use the other half of the onion half to make a ball.
Begin wrapping your onion balls with bacon strips.
Continue to cover the onion balls with bacon until they are completely covered. This may take 2-3 strips.
Once they are all wrapped with bacon, brush bbq sauce all over the outside.
Place the onion balls directly onto medium-high heat.
Be sure to flip the meatballs over to ensure even cooking of the bacon and the meat inside. This should take anywhere from 20-25 minutes.
Once the bacon and the inside is cooked, remove from heat and serve warm! Enjoy!
