Gather all of your ingredients.
In a small mixing bowl, add in your honey.
Then add in your soy sauce.
Then add in your sesame oil.
Now add in your rice vinegar and the fresh minced ginger. Mix everything together and set aside, this will be the dressing for the salad.
Season your tuna steaks with salt and pepper on each side.
Now add your sesame seeds to both sides of your tuna. Turn the grill to high and let the griddle insert heat up.
Lay out your mixed salad greens and add the cucumber and the carrots.
Now place the yellow bell peppers on top of the carrots and cucumbers.
Place the avocado on top of the yellow bell peppers.
Spread your chow mien noodles on top of the avocado.
Now that your griddle insert has heated up, place your tuna steaks directly onto the insert.
Pour a little soy sauce onto the tuna steaks if you'd like.
Let cook for about 3 minutes to be seared on one side.
Once seared on one side, flip your tuna steaks over. Pour a little more soy sauce on top if you prefer to. Let cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Once the tuna steaks are seared, remove from the griddle insert. Slice the tuna very thin.
Place your seared ahi tuna on top of the salad. Dress your salad with the sesame ginger dressing you previously made. Serve and enjoy!
